I still don't really know what I want to do with any of this.

Ending this collection on may since my may trip was definitely the highlight of the last few months.
I went to visit my friend in LA. It has been almost 2 years? since I originally went there.
The first time I drove there and have learned never to do that again.
This time in need of some adventure and a switchup I took the Amtrak all the way to LA
THIS was a 17 hour trip and I will not be doing it again. The train I took from here to LA was a little grimey. I was sat next to an older guy who went wandering around the train after the first hour. He came back only an hour before the final stop. It was good he left as it gave me room enough to sleep.

Before the trip I took a class on jewelry making. I got to use a glue gun and dremel for the first time.
I was drawn to originally make a giant button when I saw some mason jar lids but ended up with this instead

I think it looks pretty good

When I got to the station I went the opposite way where my friend was and we spent a good 30 minutes trying to figure that out.
The first day I think we went to some flea market that was a bust
Ate vegan food, as usual. Visited the good old thirsty crow (see the FJM song)
Then I think we went to a venue for some 2000s dance night which was also a bust.

The crow has a weird outdoor smoking area that makes it look like your living in the walls

We visited little tokyo, started learning how to use his camcorder and bought a few things.
Afterward the main sidequest of the trip occured.

you literally aren't vegan if you haven't been asked to a restaurant that has "vegan options" and the vegan option is iceberg lettuce with balsamic vinagrette

We visited a couple record stores and bookstores, I got a decent amount of things..

I thought I'd be able to find some more clothes but unfortunately I left empty handed

Another main sidequest of the trip was to see model actriz, the venue they were playing at was a little mid but the show was goodd. I bought this fan at the show.

The bus trip back was eventful...

The alice show was really nice, The venue was decent and the opening acts were all really good. Alice herself killed it !
