How the F*CK was I sick for half this month?
This entire month was a blur due to the simple fact that I was sick for like half of it...There was no pride just suffering. I don't remember doing much this month. No shows, no events, just sick!
I did take a couple of sewing classes throughout the month, I learned how to serge and made a small apron. big ups
Serging from what I understand at this point is not too different from sewing, and would be a lot more easy to do if it wasn't for threading. I think it took me like 2-3 months to truely get used to rethreading a sewing machine. Nowadays I can usually thread the needle + Bobbin in usually a minute but I remember back last year taking 20 minutes to do that. So maybe I'll get like that for sergers but idk
With learning to make an apron I learned a little bit about bias tape and making pockets and patches. I'm getting more comfortable with just winging things as I usually have a decent general idea of what I am supposed to be doing

Finally recovered from fatal illness I still dropped the ball in July. Very stormy July, dogs did not get a break between the fireworks and the thunder. Friend visited for a week in which I don't think there were ANY good shows happening. WOMP WOMP. I remember going to round 1 at least 3 times to play Dance dance revolution and whatever else. Round 1 might be goated as far as things to do where I live.

There were actual bands playing here unlinke June? So I got to see The marias with Julie and Father john misty live. All three of them for the second time. I forget how much I paid for the marias concert but I remember seeing them back in the day at a smaller venue for maybe like 30 dollars? Same w Julie so it kinda suprised me they were playing arenas now. The venue I saw them at DOES NOT GAF ABOUT THE OPENER cause julies live sound was barely audible compared to the marias. They didn't have the screen up or nothin. Which kinda blew.
One other thing I did when my friend was around was dye some more clothes, he had one pair of jeans and I had two jeans and something else I literally cannot recall at this moment. Unfortunately for him I had some pretty good come outs while his just kinda turned black. here's a pic of one of the jeans
